What was the highlight of Rustic Houses Tam Coc
PERVERT LURKING AROUND AT NIGHT!!!
The property is new, has a nice view and is in a quiet area.
First, the water is YELLOW. I thought I’d be able to relax in the nice bathtub they had in the room...but that’s a little hard to do when the water looks gross. Second, there was a PERVERT spying on my husband and I. While my husband was in the shower and I was getting dressed, he saw a guy with glasses in the “backyard” of our villa looking through the window. We went out after finishing up with our showers, but there was no staff around. In the morning, we explained to a staff member what happened but he didn’t seem too concerned about it. There are no curtains in the bathroom to block the view from outside, and between villa 101 & 102 (we were in 102, the owners of the homestay lives in 101), there’s a gate that EASILY allows access to each others’ backyards. We believe it was the owner’s son who was spying on us, but were unable to confirm whether or not it was.

Wonderful stay
It was far enough from the center of town to be quiet and peaceful but not so far that it was inconvenient. The owners were very accommodating and really worked to make the stay comfortable and a good experience. I would definitely stay there again.

What was the highlight of Rustic Houses Tam Coc
Close to Tam Coc, but not touristy at all.
Close to Tam Coc, but not touristy at all. We didnt look at the location when booking this...but when we got there I was amazed! This place is in the middle of Tam Coc rice fields and mountains. If you want a natural, quiet, rural ambience...it is perfect! The owner amd his family are so kind and helpful..They invited us to some tea, wine and gave us a lot of tourism information surrounding. They serve fantastic Vietnamese food as well. The room are spacious, comfortable and beautifully rustic. Too bad we had to leave early, would definitely come back here next time I visit Ninh Binh.

What was the highlight of Rustic Houses Tam Coc
Amazing experience!!
Sebastian and I were the first guests at Rustic Houses. We had a great experience! The owner was extremely hospitable, helpful and kind. Trying to make sure we had a good time, we felt comfortable and giving tips on places to see in the area and beyond! The homestay is down a windy road, giving it an off-the-beaten-track feel, away from the tourists and attractions but still close enough to visit all the spots by bike or foot. The first day we took the scenic walking route towards Tam Coc, which took took around 30min, giving the most beautiful scenery and not passing by anyone but a few locals on the way. The facilities are all great, the place is clean and neat. I’m very happy we chose this place and would love to come back any time. After 3+weeks of traveling in Vietnam, I can safely say this was the best homestay experience I’ve had. I highly recommend it to anyone!
